Now that I got the 'feel' of the router, I went at it on the cabinet sides. That new bit really went through the MDF like a warm knife through butter. It was easy to do!

As you can see, I also cut the MDF again to shorten the depth of the cabinet. I like the way it looks now much better. It just looked 'fat' the other way.
