Next, I mounted the control panel overlay onto a peice of the MDF, added a sheet of plexi over the top, and attached some edge guards. I used plastic corner guards form Big Orange on the top and a metal L-Bracket I had for the bottom. I attached everything using stainless steel screws.

My 1-1/8" drill bit worked great to go thru everything in one shot. Nice and clean. No rough edges.
