I cut the base out of 3/4" ply, and matched it up to the dimensions of the cut peices.

You can see I added casters to it so I can move this around easily. I actually went with the locking ones, so I can lock it in place once I decide on a location.

You may notice that assembly is taking place indoors..... I figured if I sneak it in the house piece by piece maybe the wife won't notice!
